Hello, Friend… welcome to August.
Finally, It’s a new month… (who else felt July was too long? 😅😅)
And as usual, we’ve all entered with big energy…new goals, fresh to-do lists, and that “this month will not see my back” confidence.
But let’s be honest… life doesn’t always read our scripts.
Sometimes, it folds our plans into a paper airplane and sends them flying in another direction entirely.
And you’re just standing there like, “Ah-ahn, God, was that not our agreement?” 😅
Here’s what I’ve been learning; and it’s not always easy to swallow:
Things usually happen the way they’re supposed to.
Sometimes rejection is actually redirection.
That closed door? It might be shielding you from something waiting around the corner that you didn’t see coming.
Plans fall through not because you’re unlucky, but because something better is quietly making its way to you.
The wrong people will pass by…and it will sting… especially if it was a heartbreak… but sometimes it’s because the right ones are finally moving closer.
And when you start seeing life this way, a certain weight lifts. You stop replaying old scenes in your mind like a broken cassette. You stop ruminating over all the “should haves” and “could haves” that didn’t go your way.
You begin to see that maybe, just maybe, things are happening exactly the way they’re meant to.
Not always the way you want, but often the way you need.

So this month, instead of fighting the flow, I’m choosing to trust it.
To believe that the delays, the detours, even the disappointments, are part of the design.
And when life throws me a lemon, I’ll take it, smile, and start working on the best batch of lemonade on this side of the equator.
Because no matter how it feels in the moment…
It’s all unfolding exactly how it’s meant to be. And that’s okay.
What about you? Has a “no” ever redirected you to something better?
Tell me about it in the comment section…
